¹ Unfinished.
² Derek Trucks on guitar.
“TREY: We have here Derek Trucks, our friend, come to join us for this benefit. Thank you Derek for coming.”
“TREY: Thanks everybody, thank you Derek Trucks. Thank you so much for being here.”
This private pre-show ahead of the Phish show at Saratoga Performing Arts Center was for Waterwheel Foundation Package ticket holders. All songs were performed acoustic. Trey teased We Welcome You to Munchkinland after Water in the Sky and said he had no clue that the previous day (in which he teased We Welcome You to Munchkinland several times during the Phish show) had been the anniversary of the release of The Wizard of Oz.
It’s so stupendous, living in this tube
Bustouts and debuts are Phish.net’s gap on the row. Version rankings and “hot this year” are counted over the shows in THIS archive — not all of history until the backfill finishes — and lengths are phish.in’s timings. Rarities use Phish.net’s all-time play count; long odds are shows played since the song’s debut divided by its plays (see the rarity index on LizardStats).

Straight off the phish.in timings, longest first. What this can’t tell you yet is whether any of these is a big version — that needs each song’s own history to compare against, which is the next thing to pull in. After that: phish.in publishes a jam-start marker per track, so the composed section and the improvisation can be separated and measured properly. That’s what belongs in this tube.
