³ Without microphones.
⁴ Narration told of Jimmy attending a Bootsy Collins concert.
“Trey: [Hums the marching rhythm] You can hear… that little rhythm going there. You can picture it. You've got two little creatures walking side by side. One of them is actually a human being, and one of them is a dog. So, try to …”
Trey sang the verses of Fee through a megaphone. Dog Faced Boy was acoustic and was, along with Sweet Adeline, performed without microphones. Before Dog Faced Boy, Trey introduced Fish for a “balloon and emotion solo...that will reach into your soul and rip your heart out of your body.” Harpua included a Stonehenge quote and Flash Light jam and told of Jimmy attending a Bootsy Collins concert.
It’s so stupendous, living in this tube
Bustouts and debuts are Phish.net’s gap on the row. Version rankings and “hot this year” are counted over the shows in THIS archive — not all of history until the backfill finishes — and lengths are phish.in’s timings. Rarities use Phish.net’s all-time play count; long odds are shows played since the song’s debut divided by its plays (see the rarity index on LizardStats).

Straight off the phish.in timings, longest first. What this can’t tell you yet is whether any of these is a big version — that needs each song’s own history to compare against, which is the next thing to pull in. After that: phish.in publishes a jam-start marker per track, so the composed section and the improvisation can be separated and measured properly. That’s what belongs in this tube.
