¹ David Bowie hi-hat intro played by Fish at start.
² Fish on Bag-Vac.
³ Aw Fuck!, All Fall Down and Simpsons signals.
⁴ Additional lyrics in intro.
Fish played the David Bowie hi-hat intro at the start of It's Ice. Landlady contained a DEG tease. I Didn’t Know featured Fish on the Bag-Vac in what was the instrument’s last known appearance. Possum had Aw Fuck!, All Fall Down and Simpsons signals, Theme from Laverne & Shirley, Stash, and Rhapsody in Blue teases from Trey. Mike's Song contained additional lyrics in its intro.
It’s so stupendous, living in this tube
Bustouts and debuts are Phish.net’s gap on the row. Version rankings and “hot this year” are counted over the shows in THIS archive — not all of history until the backfill finishes — and lengths are phish.in’s timings. Rarities use Phish.net’s all-time play count; long odds are shows played since the song’s debut divided by its plays (see the rarity index on LizardStats).

Straight off the phish.in timings, longest first. What this can’t tell you yet is whether any of these is a big version — that needs each song’s own history to compare against, which is the next thing to pull in. After that: phish.in publishes a jam-start marker per track, so the composed section and the improvisation can be separated and measured properly. That’s what belongs in this tube.
