¹ Fish on trombone.
“TREY: Once upon a time… Cam! [From the audience: "Whaaaaat?] Playin' this song for you! You're not even listening. Gimme some backlights? Backlights? Cut those reds off a little bit there— ahh. [Again, "Wha?"] Okay now that …”
On the recordings of this show in circulation, both Dinner and a Movie and Slave are cut. Cities included Dave's Energy Guide teases before actually segueing into the song. ‘A’ Train included a London Bridge Is Falling Down tease from Trey. Funky Bitch was dedicated to The Blue Sevilles, a band playing across the street. Satin Doll was preceded by a Sailor's Hornpipe tease from Trey and a Jeopardy! theme tease from Page. The band brought light board operator Tim Rogers on stage for his birthday and presented him with a “Baked in Telluride” T-shirt. Sanity featured Fish on trombone. BBFCFM included a Flintstones theme tease.
It’s so stupendous, living in this tube
Bustouts and debuts are Phish.net’s gap on the row. Version rankings and “hot this year” are counted over the shows in THIS archive — not all of history until the backfill finishes — and lengths are phish.in’s timings. Rarities use Phish.net’s all-time play count; long odds are shows played since the song’s debut divided by its plays (see the rarity index on LizardStats).

Straight off the phish.in timings, longest first. What this can’t tell you yet is whether any of these is a big version — that needs each song’s own history to compare against, which is the next thing to pull in. After that: phish.in publishes a jam-start marker per track, so the composed section and the improvisation can be separated and measured properly. That’s what belongs in this tube.
